More about Danielle

Danielle was born in Tsumeb Namibia and grew up in Upington in the Northern Cape, that is why Danielle is our own singing desertrose.  Danielle is a loving person, she is a diverse and creative singer.  She is a vocal gymnast who sings four octives with ease, this is why she can sing many styles of music, from pop to country and classic, there's no limit to her talent.

Danielle has been following her passion for the past 15 years.  A highlight in her career was in 2006 when she recorded "All I Ask Of You" and "Phantom of the Opera" with Andre Schwartz for his album - The Musicals.Danielle has also performed with lots of other musicians like The three Tenors, Nianell, Romanz and many more.

Danielle is also no stranger to the theatre.  She has been part of productions like Rypwitjie, Rooikoppie and Strictly come classicals in the Sand du Plessis Theatre.  She was also part of Cantare, The Revue group of the University of the Free State.

Danielle is also a professional vocal trainer with twelve years of experience in vocal training in all styles of music.  She was a vocal teacher at the Philip Kotze singing school and the Jana Stoltz singing school in Bloemfontein where she enriched herself with knowledge.  Beginning of 2017 Danielle started her own Singing school in Upington the Danielle Smith Sangskool.
